Do you have a story to tell? Perhaps you’ve crafted the outline of a suspenseful thriller or a lusty romantic novel. Or maybe you simply want to capture your family’s story to share with future generations.
If you’ve got the ideas for a great book but just need a little direction, please join me for a special two-day “Kick-Start Your Writing” workshop at the Verity Club in Toronto on Jan. 20-21, 2018.
Helle Brisson, an international author and writing coach, will join Kristi Stangeland, the workshop's organizer (fscfengshuiconsulting.com), as we unblock your creative potential and get those creative juices flowing. By the end of the weekend and its group, individual and paired exercises, you’ll possess the tools and techniques to completely outline your story and start writing!
What better time than the start of a new year to finally get started on the story you want to tell. Please contact Kristi at firstname.lastname@example.org to register and learn more details about this special weekend—and a follow-up event we will offer next July at our idyllic lakeside retreat complex in Maine. We are offering a special early bird discount for those who register by Nov. 30, 2017 so please email Kristi for all the details.

More about the Intensive Writing Retreat
Indian Point, Rangeley, Maine, July 12-15, 2018
Join author and writers coach Helle Brisson and retreat organizer Kristi Stangeland for a four-day writer’s retreat in July 2018 at Indian Point in Rangeley, Maine where beautiful lake waters, fresh air and home-made, organic meals accompany our intensive writing program.
Before arriving at Indian Point, Helle will contact you to discuss the starting concept for your writing project, be it your own personal story (memoir or autobiography), a novel or a self-help book. During the retreat, you will use proven techniques to structure and write your book. The program is limited to ten participants, ensuring personalized attention and feedback. You will leave with the knowledge, momentum and inspiration needed to see your writing project to completion.
Indian Point is a remarkable property owned by our friends, four hours from either Boston or Montreal in a breathtaking lake district in Maine, near the Canadian border. Kristi will provide mindfulness coaching, meditation and Qigong massage to complement the available lakeside outdoor activities.
Plan on arriving during the afternoon of Wednesday, July 11th, and departing during the afternoon of Sunday, July 15th. Early bird registration (before April 1, 2018) is $599 and $699 afterwards.
